Defeating Doc Ock
Save all of the people on the train and complete the other levels until you get to the level where he recreates his machine. To complete this level you must destroy all of the power generators. To do this, follow the cord that is streaked with orange (or yellow) and black. You will then get to the generators. Just kick them to destroy them. His shield will then go away and you must take out all of his legs; however, be careful. Then to defeat him, keep punching and kicking away.

Defeating Mysterio
You first need to know which hologram is him. To do that, you look at the faces behind all of the holograms. The one that is smiling will have the real Mysterio directly in front of it. Do not touch him while the three fireballs are orbiting his head. When he tries to shoot you and no longer has them orbiting his head, go in and hit him. When the fireballs return, back off. Keep repeating this. Note: Do not forget about the other holograms; they are just as powerful.

Defeating Rhino
To defeat Rhino, all you have to do is jump. While you are in the air, press L. Then, wait for him to run into the wall and get some combos on him. When he runs into the next room, do the same. Run around the poles when he gets the big pipe.

Defeating Shocker
To defeat Shocker, you must let Rhino knock down the platform he is standing on (see the “Defeating Rhino” hint). Then, lock in on him with the Spidey target and either blind him or hold L and press Triangle. Keep doing that and try not to die.

Defeating Vulture
Stay in the construction area on top of the building. Remain in between the two buildings that Vulture cannot get to you. After awhile, his health will get down to green. He will land, and this is when you can attack him. Do it quickly; you only get five to ten seconds to punch him.

Duplicate items
This trick requires two PSPs and two copies of the game. Select the item to be duplicated and trade it to another PSP. Do not save on your PSP but save on the other one. When you reload, because you did not save you will still have the item. However, because the other PSP saved with the item on it, they will also have the item.

More inventory space
If you cant carry anymore items in your inventory, look in your weapons, armor, and position/power up page to decide which items to discard. To help you decide, throw out the lowest hit point ratings, dexterity points, strength points ratings, etc.

Easy experience
To get easy levels, find an area in the game where there is a rare monster. They have red circles around them. If they are near a door, kill the monster then go through the door. If there is another rare monster nearby, also kill that one then go back through the door where you killed the first monster. It should be alive again. Repeat this process as many times as desired. Additionally, when you first start, kill all the monsters as usual and exit the tavern. After you exit, kill all the monsters up to the Academy. Do not get too close to the top of the Academy or the game will start your next quest. Run back down to the tavern and enter it. The monsters should have respawned. Kill them again to get experience. Repeat this and you should get a good amount of experience until you are at about level 30. This works especially well for Knights to do their Aura of Valor.

Extra gold
Use the following trick to get a lot of gold when you do not have any inventory remaining. Be an alchemist and level up the spell Transmute so that everything around you turns into gold. Note: This spell must be at a high level to be worth it.

Alchemists
Alchemists do not have an all around attack like most classes. They start out with a spell called Poison Shot that at a high level (about level 6), can kill almost all small enemies without the, getting to you. It does 25 to 35 damage and does not use a lot of energy. You can cast it very fast to surround yourself in clouds of poison that will kill everything near you.

All around attack
When crowded by many enemies, press Circle to do an all around attack. This should damage most of your opponents.

Restoring health
When you are low on health, press L to get a health potion. If you are not hurt enough to where you think you need a potion, your health and power will slowly recharge.

Avoid large amount of replay
If you are about to die and have not saved the game for a while, while you are falling you can quickly Recall To Aven.

Buying items
If have money and cannot find anything you want from the merchant, leave town then return. His inventory will change.

Forgotten Catacombs location
The Forgotten Catacombs are located behind the counter in the Inn.

Locate woman in Secret Catacombs
Since the levels are randomly generated, the location of the woman will be different for each player. Expect to locate her after the red skull/boss fight where you will get you’re first adventure book. To locate her easier, hold R and press Square until you get a full map on your screen, then look for a green or blue exclamation point; that is the woman you are looking for.

Rope location
Although you will see many holes and spend hours looking for a rope to get down them, you won’t need the rope until later in the game; when you get the rope, you will know it.

Press Circle to skip the Prologue.

Finding Bosses
You can see a Boss ahead of time by using the map. Save before you fight it, and you can reload the game it does not drop anything you want to keep.

Defeating Bosses
When fighting a boss that can overpower a Druid in hand-to-hand combat, summon a “pet” and equip a strong bow. Because you spill a lot of points in dexterity, the bow should be very strong. You can easily pick off Bosses that way.

Defeating Athoxxia, The Pretox Queen
Once you kill Ronan the Zombie in the room before the Pretox Queen, make sure you have some health vials, and at least one point into the attack where you attack an enemy in a flurry of stabs. If you have low health, do not use any of your health vials. Regenerate your health. Once your health is full, go to the circle platform where Athoxxia (the Pretox Queen) is located. Once she is done talking, watch the mini-map. The red Boss icon on the mini-map shows where she will climb up on the platform. Whenever she climbs up, use Flurry on her, as it will drain her health quickly. If she sends some Pretox spiders at you, use a power swing to dispatch them quickly. If you are low on health, use your health vials. If you have no health vials, run to the bridge-like path and regenerate while blocking (R + Circle). If you have a ranged weapon (bow, knives, etc.), get on that narrow bridge-like path and hit her with it. Once she is dead, teleport back to Aven and talk to the Overseer. Note: It is recommended that you use a fire based weapon on Athoxxia.

Defeating the bull
The only way to defeat the “bull” enemy that charges at you is with a range attack (bow and arrow, throwing knives, etc.). Once it spots you, its guaranteed that it will hit you hard if you do not take it out fast enough. It pauses for a moment, then charges you. Its attack cannot be blocked and it deals a lot of damage.

Charging weapons
Whenever a gray meter appears at the bottom of your screen, it indicates that you can charge up the weapon you have selected in your arsenal. Hold L to charge for as long as desired, and release it to unleash the weapon. However when the bar fills completely red, you must release L or the weapon will backfire and not go anywhere. For example, Axel’s EMP special move will have an increasingly larger blast radius the longer you hold L, but will be useless if you over-charge. Note: The gray meter will only appear after you’ve received the sixth “Special Weapons” upgrade by defeating enemies.

Double freeze
Be careful not to use the freeze attack on someone who is already frozen. If you do, your freeze bomb will bounce off the enemy and come back directly to you, freezing yourself on impact.

Killing the band
Lay a bomb next to the band performing in the Big Blue Stadium. Drive a short distance away and detonate it. Doing this will blow up the band and kill their music. There will be no music for about a minute until another banjo track eventually starts to play over the P.A. system.

Defeating Cousin Eddy with Dark Tooth
Start a story mode with Dark Tooth. Once you are on Cousin Eddy, take out the ATVs; just shoot your regular gun the entire time. Do not worry about missing, because the shots lock on. When you are actually fighting Cousin Eddy, do not worry about taking the time to hit all the hillbillies. Instead, use Dark Tooth’s special. It will grab Cousin Eddy and take one or two hillbillies out. Repeat this until you have killed all of his hillbillies. You will then see Eddy’s health bar. From here, use your special (if you still it), and it will send Eddy flying. Then, shoot your regular gun. It will take out half of his health. Repeat this until he is blown to pieces. However, if you did not have a special after killing his hillbillies, take him down to half of his health bar with missiles, napalm, ricochet, etc. By the time half of his bar is gone, you should have a special. Use it to defeat him.

Wishes
The wishes that the default characters make for their final movie is as follows:
Cousin Eddy: A new RV.
Grasshopper: For the car accident that she and her mother were in to never happen.
Marcus Kane: To wake up from the whole dream that is Twisted Metal (also in Twisted Metal 2).
Mortimer Scharf: To fall back asleep.
Mr. Grimm: To be human again.
Needles Kane (Sweet Tooth): To become Calypso.
Outlaw: For his partner to shut up.
Spectre: To have money.
Thumper: To have her car more pimp.
Twister: To have her sister back (from Twisted Metal 2).
Warthog: To have a gun to kill all the drug lords.

The following is what happens to the default characters’ wishes:

ATV: Wishes to be the most desired man in the world by all women. Every woman on Earth comes at him and smothers him.

Axel: Tries to wish for world peace, but is cut off by the man who created his prosthetic arms and legs and ends up wishing for pizza.

Cousin Eddy: Calypso makes him a perfect RV.

Dark Tooth: Needles Kane tells Marcus Kane that they are the same person. Both then take hold of Tower Tooth.

Grasshopper: She is shown on a swing with Calypso pushing her; Calypso is her father.

Hammerhead: Wishes for a one on one hunt with Calypso. Catfish shoots at who he thinks to be Calypso (turns out to be a decoy) and Calypso snipes Catfish, then hangs his head as a trophy.

Marcus Kane: He wakes up in his bed, out of Twisted Metal. The explanation is that Twisted Metal is a dream. 27 people got in a car crash and they were bound together in a coma and all were in the hospital. None woke up unless they wished to wake up. Marcus always said that it was all fake, and when he wished to wake up in Twisted Metal 2 (or Black), the nurses in the hospital freaked and said “he woke up!”.

Mortimer Scharf: Calypso reads him a story about “a man named Mortimer Scharf”, who won Twisted Metal, until Mortimer died again (asleep).

Mr. Grimm: His wish was for someone else to be the grim reaper. He walks in front of the bus, then “Mr. Grimm” appears on the new grim reaper’s list.

Mr. Slam: Wants to build his unfinished tower and wishes to be reborn. Calypso grants his wish and turns him into a baby.

Needles Kane (Sweet Tooth): Switches bodies with Calypso, then kills his old body.

Outlaw: He and his partner are fighting and he slips out, “I wish you would just shut up”. Calypso closes her mouth up.

Spectre: Calypso grants his wish for money, but the money piles up and falls on him.

Thumper: She drives down the street with her music blasting, and when she turns on the hydraulics, the world shakes and a skyscraper falls on her car.

Twister: Her sister returns from hell still a skeleton and gives Twister a hug. She died in Twisted Metal 2; her wish was to be faster, and killed herself.

Warthog: He kills all the drug lords, but the kids who worked for the drug lords like them, and pull out guns and kill Warthog.

Control camera
When skating, use the Analog-stick to move the camera. Note: Moving it when you are not on the skateboard will make you walk or run.

Run
When you are not on the skateboard, hold X to run.

# Focused
In order to get “Focused”, fill your special meter then tap the Analog-stick Back. The game will go into slow motion, allowing you to “focus” better on the move that you want to do, hence the name. It will also allow you to balance better during grinds and manuals.

Get inside corners
Come up to a corner and do a grab or flip trick. If there is an area behind the corner, you can go through the wall. This is a good way to get inside of buildings.

Easy points in Berlin
Go down the stairs, then past the cop in front of the door. Then go through that door and you will be on the roof. Walk into the air conditioning unit and it will break. Then, walk over the sparks on the ground where it was. You should get 1,000 points each time. This is helpful for getting the scoring goals completed in Classic mode.

Star Wars kid in Boston
From the starting point, turn right and go to the apartments just before the construction site. Using the quarter pipe on the left side, jump through the window into the room above. You will see the Star Wars kid and can have him show you his moves. Press Circle to start and stop his moves.

Super jump in Las Vegas
Go to the waterfall on the second story to find that the waterfall goes down into the bowl and up the other side. If you stand next to the water going up, run, then jump while the water is pushing you up, you will perform a super jump. This is useful for getting up to the pools if you have just fallen off the edge.

Fall into the aquarium in Las Vegas
Go on the aquarium elevator and start jumping up and down without your skateboard when the elevator is moving up. You should fall into the aquarium. To get out, walk through the glass holding the fish in the aquarium.

Agro special move
This move is unlocked in career mode and is only available for SUVs, trucks, and luxury sedans. The Agro meter is charged by hitting traffic and sidewalk clutter. When fully charged, Agro can be activated (or used at a later time). Agro allows you to plow through the competition, swatting aside any car that gets in your way.

Roar special move
This move is unlocked in career mode, and is available to muscle cars and choppers. The Roar meter is charged through successful drifting. When the special move meter is fully charged, Roar can be activated immediately or saved for later use. When activated, Roar sends out an engine rev so loud that traffic will do anything it can to get out of the way.

Zone special move
This move is unlocked in career mode and available to import and exotic cars, as well as sportbikes. The Zone meter is charged by driving cleanly and avoiding collisions. Collisions will prevent the meter from charging. Zone simulates the adrenaline rush of racing at insane speeds by slowing down the world around you to a crawl, allowing you to squeeze around tight turns and get through narrow spaces with ease.

Easy cheats
To use cheats easier, enter the code text, but do not accept it. Select the “Hotkey” button and go to “Set”. Then, select one of those phrases. Your code should now be accessible through hotkeys. This is especially useful with the code to add $1 to your career total.

Easy money
In a tournament race, do not finish the last race in first place, but in second or third place. Note: Second place is worth more money. Do this as many times as desired for quick money.

In the middle of career mode, buy any car (for example, a ‘64 Impala). Fix it up nicely with level 2 performance parts, etc., which is worth $43,500. Make a duplicate of the car in the “Manage Vehicle” menu. Make at least five duplicates, but make sure to change some of the letters or numbers of each duplicate. When all of the duplicates are made, choose the duplicates and select “Sell The Vehicle”. After selling these versions, you will have easy money in career mode.

Easy boost
Get on an opponent’s tail until the meter fills up on the right side of the screen then press Nitrous. Additionally, when someone peels out in front of you on a straight road, use your nitrous when he is done and get behind him. Your turbo boost will rise. Then, tap Nitrous again and you will get an ultra boost. This works best with cars that have “Roar”.

Burnout boost
Hold the Hand Brake and Gas when getting ready for a race. After the screen focuses on your car, release Hand Brake. If done correctly, when it is time to go the meter on the right will fill up and you will get a slight boost.

Faster street bike acceleration
With any street motorcycle, use weight control and hold back to wheelie. You will accelerate much faster, but will only be maxed at about 175 mph. Once you go down you will go slower, and then reach 200+ mph.

Slipstream turbo
When drafting someone (sharing the air from the car in front), you will see a meter on the right-hand side of the screen fill up. When it is red and starts beeping, press Nitrous and you will get a sudden boost, allowing you to leave your competition in the dust.

Exotic cars
After you unlock Class A cars, you may notice that the really fast cars are $250,000 each. In order to get that money, sell all of your other cars. The Cadillac Escalade EXT is worth over $50,000.

Go under cars
This trick only works with exotic cars that are set low to the ground. When in the air coming off a jump, press Circle + Analog-stick Up to angle the car downwards. If you hit a car, you will go under it without losing any speed. This is very useful in races.

Weave through traffic
When racing, turn left or right and press Circle. Your car will go on its side and can weave through traffic.

Drive on two wheels
Press L1 and the D-pad Left or Right. Your car will pop up on the left or right side, and you can drive on two wheels.

Frontflip
Get a tuner car with the Zone special move, then find a big jump (for example, the roller coaster jumps in San Diego). Get to at least 150 mph and just before reaching the end of the jump, activate the Zone. Once in the air, hold L + Analog-stick Up. If done correctly, you will perform a frontflip.

Weight transfer and air tricks
When flying through the air press, hold Circle and tilt the Analog-stick in whatever direction that applies to the situation. For example, if you are going to land on the rear, tilt the Analog-stick Forward to level out. Some cars have the ability to do spins, flips, and spinning flips. Note: Bikes and trucks cannot do the aerial stunts. Tuners are recommended for these stunts, though weight transfer works for all vehicles.

Wheelies, endos, drive on two wheels, etc.
When on a bike, hold Circle and press the Analog-stick Down to make the bike do a wheelie, while pressing the Analog-stick Forward will make it do an endo (stoppie). Tilting the Analog-stick Left or Right will decrease its turning radius. In cars or trucks you will drive on two wheels. Note: Wheelies and endos will not work on choppers as well as on the sport bikes.

Tuning your car, truck, or bike
While in cruise mode, press Start to pause the game. Then, go to “Options”, then to “Tune Your Vehicle”. There are three settings, “Drift Factor”, “Traction”, and “Friction Bias”. For all the drifters out there, set the “Drift” bar all the way to the right, “Traction” to the left, and leave “Friction Bias” alone and it will slide like it is on ice. Also, turning and nailing the gas from a complete stop will make it do drifting donuts requiring no turning after about three times around.

Preview car
To preview your car, enter the pause menu and move the Analog-stick around to circle your car. Use L and R to zoom. This also works in the garage; you do not need to enter the pause menu in the garage.

Pedestrians look at your car
Drive up to a pedestrian (be careful not to run them over) and wait a little while. They will start to admire your car. Some will even go down on their knees to look at your rims. Others will walk around the whole car to look at the entire thing.

Big explosion
Find a gas station and drive into one of the pumps. There should be a huge explosion and you car will be reset in perfect condition.

Baseball stadium in San Diego
To get to the baseball stadium, get your map fixed then go all the way down to the bottom of it. While looking at your map, press Up and look to the right on the map. Follow the road that the strange shape is on to reach the stadium.

Rockstar Games logos
There are twelve Rockstar Games logos hidden throughout each level in the game. Some locations of the logos are as follows:

Atlanta: When you get out of the garage immediately turn to the right. You will see a glass. Crash through to find the logo.

Atlanta: While looking at the shipping station, turn left and keep going until you find a park-like area. There will be a ramp at a corner of it. Hit the ramp at full speed, and after you land on the building, continue forward and jump over to the next building. You should see an open area to the left. The logo should be located there.

Atlanta: Drive to the bottom of the map. Look for a building with a huge globe. There is a logo that reads “Nitro Cola”. A logo is located directly under that.

Atlanta: Drive to the graveyard in the south of the map (near the highway). There is a logo at the east part of the building there.

Atlanta: Follow the building where you garage is located. Drive through the skeleton’s mouth and you will find a logo.

Atlanta: Follow the highway until you reach a place with some construction work. Drive off the highway (to your right side if driving north), and look for a tank station. Follow the building around and you will se a ramp/road going up. Get some speed, fly over, and you will land on the roof of building. The logo should be in front of you.

Atlanta: Follow the highway until you se a building with a yellow sign on top that reads “DJ Smalls”. Across the road is a small parking area where you can see a sign on another building that reads “Spike”. Left of that building is a basketball court and a logo.

Atlanta: On the freeway at the top right-hand side of the map, there is an overpass. There is a logo under the overpass on the right-hand side, if you are traveling north.

Detroit: Look for Comerica Park. Near there is a building with some glass that you can drive through. Inside you will find a Rockstar logo.

Detroit: Look for a building with the Detriot Atrium. Drive through the glass to find another Rockstar logo.

Detroit: Look for the big pentagon-shaped place on the map (at the center). Look to the south of that. There will be a small open area. Look to the left of that to find the big building labled “Expo”. Go inside the glass to find a Rockstar logo.

Detroit: There is a Rockstar logo near the near the lower left part of the map. Look for a building with some graffiti with a pink bear and the name Kool Kid Snirk. There is a building to the right of it. The logo is inside. Enter the building and turn to see it.

Detroit: Near the lower part of the map, look for some subway tracks that are overhead. Then, look for a ramp that leads up to the subway platform. Drive on the track and you should see a Rockstar logo near a building with a red Maxim billboard sign on it.

San Diego: Find the aircraft carrier and locate the ramp to jump onto the flight deck. One logo can be found here, on the ramp.

San Diego: Drive to the beach at the top left of the map. Follow the beach until you see a small tunnel. There is a logo in there.

San Diego: There is a logo behind the baseball stadium. Follow the highway to the back of the stadium.. You will then se a small ramp. Drive up to find the logo.

San Diego: There is also a logo at the top deck of the aircraft carrier.

San Diego: At the lower left of the map (near the aircraft carrier), follow the coastline. There is no road near by. Follow the large building, and you will find a little road that leads up to a roof. Turn left and you will see the logo.

San Diego: Almost at the lower right corner at the map, there is a huge parking garage. When you are on the streets, drive to the bottom left corner of the building. Drive up the ramp, turn left, and drive through the windows to find another logo.

San Diego: To the far left of the map at the rollercoaster, drive up the ramp that is located at the north of the rollercoaster. Ride to find the logo.
