Viewtiful Joe Hint: Get Infinite Viewtiful Points
At any of the Power Conductor Stations (two orbs on top of small towers that light up when hit, the first you come to is in the sewers of the second episode.), stand in the middle but closer to one than the other. Zoom in and kick to hit both Towers, and the one you are closer to will light up before the other one. Kick again (while still zoomed) to finish the chain and have the towers reset. If done correctly, the conductors will not activate and the two bottom lights will be kicked on, you will also get 100 Viewtiful points for the move. Repeat this process to continually gain 100 points for as long as you want.

William Icari also maintains in Level Two’s hotel, you’ll eventually come across a big green switch you’ll need to hit with the downward Close-Up attack. But, here’s a little something you can do to really rack up the V-Points. Get right next to the switch, and quickly hit Close-Up, then Mach Speed, and start doing the circle kick attack. You’ll start hitting the switch numerous times and the points will start racking up. Keep kicking at Mach Speed until your VFX meter runs out. By that time, you’ll have acquired between 500 and 700 V-Points. You can do it as long as you’d like (or until you get tired of it).

Viewtiful Joe Hint: Listen to Hidden Tune
When you’re at an area with no enemies around, you can try out this neat (but useless) trick. Take out a bomb and hold the kick button (the same button used to take the bomb out). Joe will then juggle the bomb and whistle a part of the Mario theme tune. If you jump up in the air and do the same thing, and Joe will whistle a different part of the Mario tune. You have to listen closely to hear it.

Viewtiful Joe Hint: The Absolutely, Positively Easiest Way to Defeat Fire Leo
First of all, for this method to work, you need to know Red Hot Kick (having the VFX Turbo Charger helps, too), so go down to the shop and buy them. Now, at the beginning of the battle, Mach Speed punch one of the balls of cooled lava until you have a fiery aura (you need this to be immune to the fireballs Leo shoots, as well as to break his aura). Slow kick him while you’re still fired-up, then break his shield with SlowZ-RHOH (Red Hot One Hundred). Do whatever you feel like doing until he auditions for “ballerina of death of the year,” at which point you continuously use two slow-mo Red Hot Kicks, and then Zoom In after the second one (Zooming in during a RHK or after the second one will make Joe do a corkscrew RHK, complete with fire), after which you zoom out and run away from Fire Leo to recharge your VFX.

A few important things to remember:
DO NOT stop using slow until you’ve cleared Leo’s arm length. Doing so will result in damage. Wait until Joe either dodges one of the swipes or clears Leo’s arm.
DO NOT do anything that will knock Leo back, including but not limited to letting Viewtiful Forever be activated. If he gets knocked back, he may stop spinning, forcing you to repeat the process.
DO NOT jump over the gap in the ring. This will have the same effect as the above. If you get to the gap, double-jump over Leo and head in the opposite direction.
If Joe loses all of his VFX, stay away from Leo until Joe transforms back.
If you’re not RHKing Leo, you’re running from Leo or jumping over Leo.

If you use this method, you will run a much smaller risk than using SlowZ-RHOH as your primary attack.

Viewtiful Joe Hint: Speed Up During Slow Motion
Most people may have come across this already. You can use VFX slow and VFX speed together. While using slow, you may then press the speed button and it will allow you to run considerably faster than just running normally in slow motion. Doing this doesn’t use up VFX any faster either.

Viewtiful Joe Hint: Skip To The Boss
This is the fastest way to get through level 4. At the beginning of the level when the huge torpedos are firing and you have to dodge them insead of going up to the flag go over to the launching bay of the torpedos. Climb up the torpedos until you get to the room with the spinning gears go through there and drop down the hole. This will take you straight to the boss (another Joe).

Warning: This code works but if you use it your VFX meter will not have a lot of boxes filled making it difficult for some people. So do not use this code unless you are good at the game already.

Viewtiful Joe Hint: Grain Bruce Tips
At the beginning of the battle dodge his throw up attacks. Then go to the platform on the right. Dodge his bite attacks because even if you have full health he can kill you.

When he starts resting, the pool will then rise up. As quickly as you can use slow zoomed in punches on him. He’ll die in no time.

In the Hawaii level, find the tiki statue. Jump into its mouth and ride down the tunnel to the end. Get the item to unlock the Venice level.

In the Carnival Level of THPS4, there’s a way to get into the House of Horrors. Go to the right side of the House of Horrors, into the small alley. Do a move that knocks you into the side. In a few seconds, you should be transported to a small version of the House of Horrors.

Tony Hawk’s Underground Hint: Secret Tape Locations
New Jersey - Go to the left side of the bridge; you will see a sidewalk next to the river. Jump down onto it and walk under the bridge.

Manhattan - Go to the Metro Center (the building that is very shiny and made of glass) the tape should be on the sign that says “Welcome”.

Tampa - Find the huge building made of windows with two ramps in front of it. Air off one of the ramps (as if you were going to gap between them) and head high between the middle of the ramps.

Hawaii - Climb on top of the Big Surf Hotel and find the side facing the pink hotel. Then go into the corner on the roof next to the quarter pipe and look for a wire. Grind down the wire to the tape.

Vancouver - Find the big bubble thing with flags around it above the hockey rink, then find the quarter pipe next to it. Go out into the street and spine transfer the quarter pipe for speed and then air up to get the tape.

Slam City Jam - Locate the scoreboard in the middle of the stage and the circular platform that goes around it. Grind on the platform and into the bottom of the scoreboard.

Hotter Than Hell - Get onto the inner of two platforms that are high up in the air and head around the platform until there is a part where it starts to rise. Go up that part of the platform and get air to get the tape.

Tony Hawk’s Underground Hint: Infinite Trick Bug on Hangar
On the Hangar level, go to the half pipe on the other side of the wooden one in the middle. The pipe is in a seperate room. Go to the far left corner and skate up and down, olling to get more air. Eventually, you should go so high that you get stuck, and you can spin infinitely. The only way to get down is to hop off your board, and get back down again.

Tony Hawk’s Underground Hint: Easy Single Trick Combos
While playing any difficulty on story mode, you’ll notice that it may ask you do a move 5 times in one combo or something as such. Like ‘Lipslide 5 times in one combo’ raise a stat up a bar for a created character. Now if you’re having trouble doing this there’s a solution.

When you’re ready to earn that point, enter the create-a-trick mode in the middle of the game. (Don’t exit Story mode to the Create Trick mode!) Create a basic trick (like a simple flip or grab). Now name your newly created move to the name of the trick that you are trying to mimic. You don’t have to map the move to your character permanently, instead enter the preview trick and land the new move 5 times or however times you need.

Example of this: enter create a trick, insert a kickflip, rename the move, enter preview move, and now land the trick as many times as needed in one combo. When you’re finished, simply quit edit a trick and you should that after you succesfully landed the trick, you’re stats should increase.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 Hint: Hard To Find Mini-Games
Here are two of the harder to find mini-games. At the College, find the green transformer next to Billy’s Sporting Goods and do a lip trick on it. Then quickly grind the flashing wires to bring the voltage back down to zero. It’s hard to find but the transformer is on the ground with a really small pipe hooked to it.

At the San Franciso pier, go straight to the ocean, to the big bowl there. You will see two telescopes between two different quarter pipes. Look through the one on the left for the mini-game.
